The Motorolla Attrix, powered by Android should be out in March. This Android phone has a lot of innovation behind it. The interesting thing about this dual core processor phone, is that users can buy an additional dock that has a keyboard and an 11" screen. This dock will allow users to use the phone much like a netbook. Once the phone is plugged in, users can surf the web and check email, and not worry about draining the battery in the phone, because the dock has its own battery as well. The Attrix will be on the AT&T network.
Nvidia made a big splash at CES 2011 with their Tegra 2 dual core chip. The Tegra 2 will be in some Android phones and all Android tablets running Android 3.0 Gingerbread. This chip will provide a better gaming experience on the Android platform with Nvidia's video processing power.
Nvidia also announced that they will have their own marketplace for games on Android. This will make the Android platform more appealing to game developers because the Nvidia game store will allow the developers more than 50 MB for their programs. This should be bringing more game developers to the Android operating system. Keep on the look out for more news with Nvidia!

Verizon Wireless is starting to roll out their 4G LTE service. LTE stands for Long Term Evolution which, with a name like this, I would imagine this 4G network should be around for a while. Verizon is going to have their LTE network located at 60 commercial airports and in 38 major metropolitan areas. Verizon claims that this network will be up to 10 times faster then their 3G network, so you could be having speeds on your phone as fast as some people do at home with cable internet services!
There should be some 4G phones coming out in the first few months of 2011. Keep your eye out for new LTE phones on MobileTide!
